Shihan Titus

 

Shihan Alan Titus began his training in the martial arts in 1991 earning his 1st degree Black Belt (Shodan) In Nick Cerio's Kenpo in 1995. He continued his training in Nick Cerio's Kenpo, under the tutelage of Kyoshi Mark Sheeley at the Cumberland Dojo, earning his 2nd degree Black Belt (Nidan) in 1997.

Upon the passing of the late Grand Master Professor Nick Cerio in October 1998, Kyoshi Mark Sheeley embarked on his journey of forming the system of Kensho-Ryu Kenpo Karate. (Combining the arts of Kenpo and Shotokan).

Shihan Titus began teaching at the Cumberland Dojo in 1998 and received his title of Sensei from Kyoshi Sheeley. He continued his training under Kyoshi Sheeley and in 2001 earned his 3rd Degree Black Belt (Sandan) in Kensho Ryu Kenpo Karate. In 2003 He was inducted into the Kensho-Ryu Hall of Fame and earned his 4th Degree Black Belt (Yondan).

He continues to train daily, teaches on a regular basis and in 2009 earned the grade of 5th Degree Black Belt and title of Shihan from Kyoshi Sheeley. He has been a co-owner of the Norton, MA Dojo since January 2007.

He has attended numerous seminars over the years including such notables as The Late Prof. Nick Cerio, Bill "Super Foot" Wallace, Hanshi Bruce Juchnik, Sifu Bruce Corrigan, Sifu Lou Hicks, Shihan Chris Horlbogen, Shihan Paul Parent, Shihan Jason Delucia, Shihan Mike Burton Soki Wali Islam and Kyoshi Mark Sheeley.
